Arsenal’s 2013/14 Champions League campaign begins here as Arsene Wenger’s side travel to France to take on Olympique Marseille.
The Gunners have been drawn in arguably the toughest group of the competition, with the quartet being made up by Borussia Dortmund and Napoli.
Marseille were the Ligue 1 runners-up behind Paris Saint-Germain last term and are by no means pushovers themselves.
Experienced campaigners such as Steve Mandanda and Mathieu Valbuena are supported by more youthful and raw talent and this will be a tough encounter for Wenger and the Frenchman’s side.
However, the north London club have been in great form so far this season and since an opening day defeat in the Premier League to Aston Villa, have a 100% record in all competitions.
This included breezing past Fenerbahce over two legs to make it to this stage, although the club have been hit with a spate of injuries of late.
Mikel Arteta, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Abou Diaby will all miss the match, but Lukas Podolski could return; whilst Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey are in fine form and Mesut Ozil will give them world-class support.
