Red Devils ready mammoth contract for Arsenal target.
Manchester United have emerged as new favourites to sign Arsenal and Chelsea target Sami Khedira from Real Madrid, according to the Daily Star.
The Red Devils are prepared to pay the German international an astonishing £200,000 per week to move to Old Trafford instead of their rivals, in what may see them finally end this long-running transfer saga.
The 27-year-old will become first choice at United if he does move, which is no guarantee at Chelsea, while the money is likely to be better than what the Gunners can realistically offer.
Khedira’s contract at Real expires next summer and he is free to talk to other clubs from January onwards.
