The 39-year old has been extended his contract by one year at a time during recent seasons and has made no decision yet over whether he will continue to do so.
Giggs continues to play a role in Alex Ferguson’s squad, making 16 appearances for the club in all competitions.
While no longer playing on the left wing, having lost his dazzling pace that made his name as a youngster, the Welshman has since made the centre midfield position his own with his adept reading of the game and technical ability.
‘I will see how I feel and see how I am contributing, and then I will sit down and talk to the manager. I am cool with that. I am enjoying my football at the moment, but the end of the season is a few months away and you never know what will happen’ Giggs said.
‘I have to contribute as well as enjoying both training and playing. In a way I suppose I get an easier ride than some of the younger lads, and that’s because the manager recognises I have different needs at this point’.
Giggs made his debut for United against Everton at Old Trafford in March 1991.
