Moyes should stick with his midfield pairing…
Will David Moyes stick with Ryan Giggs in midfield? And how will he bring £37m Juan Mata back in to a winning side?
GK) David de Gea
de Gea made a wonderful double save versus Olympiakos midweek that could potentially save United’s season. All term, he’s been one of the best of a pretty bad bunch.
DR) Rafael
The Brazilian will want to bomb down the right flank at every opportunity, and it’s unlikely he’ll be too worried about Stewart Downing if the Englishman starts on the left!
DC) Rio Ferdinand
Nemanja Vidic is suspended after his red card against Liverpool, meaning Ferdinand will likely be asked to play his second game in the space of a few days.
DC) Phil Jones
Jones should start alongside the ageing Englishman, and will have to deal with the robust, aerial threat of Andy Carroll up top for the Hammers.
DL) Patrice Evra
The Frenchman is one of the first names on United’s team sheet, and today versus Sam Allardyce’s inconsistent side shouldn’t be any different.
