United eyeing January bid for Real’s Khedira.
Manchester United are plotting a £35m move for Real Madrid’s Sami Khedira, reports The Daily Mirror.
United boss David Moyes reportedly sent assistant Phil Neville to watch the Germany international in action during Real’s 7-3 win over Sevilla last week, as the Scot looks to strengthen his midfield options in January.
The Red Devils are thought to have had a late bid for Khedira rejected in the summer transfer window but their interest in the 26-year-old has not diminished.
Arsenal and Chelsea have also been linked with moves for Khedira but with the Gunners boasting plenty of midfield options, it seems unlikely the former Stuttgart man will be reunited with Mesut Ozil in the near future.
Chelsea, meanwhile, remain in the hunt for a defensive midfield player but it is thought a striker is boss Jose Mourinho’s top priority in January.
