Man United star Adnan Januzaj has been ruled out of the game against Swansea this weekend after he picked up an injury during the week.
Louis Van Gaal has revealed that the Belgian star will be missing, but didn’t reveal what the issue was when speaking to MUTV.
“Adnan Januzaj was injured and because of that he was out of the team. He shall not play against Swansea,” he said.
Ander Herrera stepped in to play in Belgium against Club Brugge, and the Spaniard impressed in the 4-0 victory.
However, Van Gaal would not confirm that he would start against Swansea, but conceded that his midfielder did have a good game and would be considered.
Meanwhile, United are also boosted by the news that Marouane Felliani has served his three-match ban and will be available for selection against the Swans on Saturday.
United travel to the Liberty Stadium looking for their third win of the season, while they have yet to concede a single goal in the Premier League.
