Manchester United are reportedly in works to acquire three huge stars, but not without the big price tag, according to the Daily Star.
The first of the three players, Brazilian defender Fabinho, is a wanted target for the Red Devils. Man U have been in talks with his current club, Monaco, but the price seems a bit high to settle now. The French team want more than double of Man U’s initial offering of £10m. Although he has become an expensive player, it is known that Fabinho wants to leave Monaco.
United have also talked to agent superstar Jorge Mendes in order to acquire Nicolas Otamendi. They have found it difficult to come to a deal with the central defender. Valencia reportedly want £35m for Otamendi, but United is determined to get that price lowered.
The power trio comes to an end with the addition of of Southampton star Morgan Schneiderlin. United has been told it will take £24m to land him. The Red Devils are apparently in the lead to acquire him, ahead of rivals Arsenal.
With the addition of two defenders and a midfielder, United could be down £79m, but is the hefty price tag worth it?
