Balotelli puts house on market, making Etihad Stadium exit appear more likely, and AC Milan could be the team to capitalise.

Love him or loathe him, Mario Balotelli has certainly made English football interesting in his time at Manchester City.

The Italy international striker has an extraordinary talent, but sometimes his devil-may-care attitude grates with both the press and fans, and frequently his escapades tread a fine line between hilarious and irresponsible.

Throughout much of his Manchester City career, he has been linked with a move to AC Milan, the club he has supported since he was a boy.

Indeed, even when playing for arch rivals Internazionale, he posed in the red and black shirt of the Rossoneri on television – something that of course did not go down well with the Inter support.

Now, Balotelli’s house in Alderley Edge, south of Manchester, is on the lettings market.

Available to rent for a cool £14,495 per week, it has led to yet more rumours Balotelli will leave Manchester City – especially since it came on the market on January 11th, shortly after the transfer window opened.

Repeated denials from his agent have not stemmed the tide of exit rumours, while AC Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani is reportedly not keen on bringing Balotelli to the club.

Still, owner Silvio Berlusconi has given mixed signals in public, and Balotelli’s future will be up in the air until January 31st 2013.
