Reds size up move for Luiz Suarez replacement in January.
Liverpool are reportedly lining up a whopping £50m move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema in the new year in a bid to ease their problems with personnel up front, according to the Metro.
The Reds need to add more fire power to their ranks in the new year, with Brendan Rodgers’ side struggling for goals this term.
And reports are now suggesting that Brendan Rodgers is ready to turn to the powerful France international to solve their issues in the January transfer window.
Madrid aren’t thought to be intent on selling Benzema next month, but the Reds are hoping that a suitably massive offer will tempt them to sell.
The Reds have also been linked with moves for Porto star Jackson Martinez and Swansea’s Wilfried Bony.
