Now the 24-year-old has used the same social networking site to send a message to all those disappointed to see the England international absent from the team.
Keeping the faith. I’m pushing myself to be better than before the injury. God willing a quick recovery and I’ll be back playing soon! #love

I’m gutted right now man, keeping it real. Thanks for all the kind words. To all my fans thanks for the support. Means a lot to me. Daniel

Sturridge has been in great form this term and has netted nine Premier League goals already – which is perhaps why it’s so difficult to see the attacker out.
The Englishman’s absence was greatly exaggerated by the 3-1 shock defeat the Merseyside club suffered at the hands of Hull City on Sunday.
Without Sturridge alongside him Luis Suarez struggled against the Tigers and did not come close to getting on the score-sheet.
