Fremantle continue their preparations for the biggest game of the year.
Luke McPharlin, Michael Johnson and Chris Mayne are all likely to line-up in the Fremantle Dockers side to take on Hawthorn in this weekends AFL grand final.
The group were kept to light duties after missing their first practice of the week, with their successful attempt at training conducted behind closed doors.
Mayne (sore back) warmed up in a tracksuit, while McPharlin, who has been under a cloud with leg soreness after missing several months with a torn calf, did some light jogging and stretching.
Johnson, who was wearing a compression bandage on his sore right calf – as he did in last week’s win over Sydney – was not sighted running before the media was asked to leave.
Fremantle football manager Chris Bond said he was confident all three would take their place in the line-up on Saturday.
Luckless defender Garrick Ibbotson was at training to lend his support, standing on crutches having had surgery on his injured achilles last week.
Skipper Matthew Pavlich went through some goal visualisation techniques ahead of his first grand final in his 291st game.
Fremantle will fly out this afternoon ahead of tomorrow’s grand final parade through the streets of Melbourne.
