Kasabian to headline New Years show at London O2 Arena
UK band Kasabian have been confirmed to headline a New Year's Eve show at London's O2 Arena. The band, who are set to begin a UK arena tour this month, will top the bill at the event titled NYE RE:WIRED. Dance act Chase and Status, and BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe will also perform at the show on 31st December.

The band have promised to provide a great night for all in attendance, stating, "It's been a hell of a year for us and we can't think of a better way to celebrate New Year's Eve than with our fans, friends and family by our side. We promise to set the O2 on fire! Bring on 2012!"

The group's upcoming tour will take place in support of their latest album, Velociraptor, which followed the band's previous three double-platinum records. They will showcase their new material throughout the live shows, as well as performing their greatest hits such as Club Foot, Cutt Off, Empire and Fire.

Kasabian tickets are on sale now for the following UK tour dates, with tickets for the New Year's Eve gig set to go on sale this Friday, 11th November:
