James makes announcement on official Twitter and Instagram accounts…
Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James has revealed that he will return to wearing the No.23 jersey next season after wearing No.6 during his Miami Heat spell.
The 29-year-old made the announcement on Twitter and Instagram on Sunday night, revealing that he would wear the same number that he wore when he first played for Cleveland.
While it remains to be seen whether or not the pre-game chalk toss also returns, it is undoubtedly an exciting time for Cavaliers fans who continue to await news on whether or not the roster will be strengthened further this off-season.
With speculation that Kevin Love is still being discussed, the return of James has marked a turning point in their fortunes as they become genuine contenders for an NBA championship next season.
Provided that not all Cleveland fans burned their old jerseys when James decided to leave for the Heat back 2010, there will likely be a few coming back out of the wardrobe in the coming months…
