Fourth time lucky for Graham Arnold and his side in the finale of football in Australia.
It was to be a fairytale finish for one of the sides in the A-League grand final, and for Graham Arnold and the Mariners, theirs had the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
The Central Coast Mariners showed their experience it the biggest game of the season to win their first A-League title in their fourth attempt.
In doing so they denied the Western Sydney Wanderers the chance to create history in winning a title in their first season in the competition.
However, the Mariners deserved the 2-0 victory as they outplayed their opponents for most of the clash in front of more than 42,000 people at Allianz Stadium.
