Bears receiver posts image of acceptance email on Instagram.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall is known for his explosive play on the field, but it appears as though he is heading for Harvard in his spare time.
The 30-year-old posted an image on Instagram on Tuesday of a confirmation email before later confirming on Twitter that he has been accepted into the Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports program in May.
While it is only a four-day program, it is still particularly impressive that Marshall is showing interest in doing something after his time in the sport and planning for the future, much like Baltimore Ravens star Matt Elam revealed earlier this off-season.
The Bears star also runs The Brandon Marshall Foundation where he raises awareness about Borderline Personality Disorder and mental health issues, and it appears as though he is keen on adding to his off-the-field achievements.
Although it is only for an industry seminar, Marshall has rightly received positive feedback from his fans as he looks to potentially embark on a new path once he calls time on his NFL career.
Nevertheless, he still forms a pivotal part of the Bears offensive unit and will be looking to play a significant role for coach Marc Trestman in the coming season.
