Hull City were the unfortunate side on the end on an efficient Blues performance.
There was much anticipation for Chelsea’s first Premier League match against Hull City on Sunday, as talismanic manager Jose Mourinho would be in the dug-out for the first time in six years.
Mourinho enjoyed three years of success at Stamford Bridge previously, winning five trophies for the Blues between 2004 and 2007.
It seemed business as usual for the 50-year-old this time around, as Hull simply couldn’t cope with the west London club’s strength and goals from Oscar and Frank Lampard secured a 2-0 win.
