Jose Mourinho handed Kevin De Bruyne his Chelsea competitive debut, and the Belgian duly shone with an impressive assist.
Kevin De Bruyne shone for Chelsea in their 2-0 victory over Hull City on Sunday, which was the Belgian international’s first competitive game for the club.
De Bruyne signed for the Blues in the summer transfer window of 2012, but spent last season on loan at Werder Bremen, where he demonstrated he was ready to step up to the first team at Stamford Bridge.
Jose Mourinho has clearly been impressed, for he picked the 22 year-old to start the match in the attacking triumvirate behind Fernando Torres ahead of Juan Mata, Andre Schurrle and Victor Moses, and De Bruyne set up the first goal for Oscar.
De Bruyne posted his delight about his first game on social network Instagram.
