Chelsea central defender John Terry praises Jose Mourinho for the impact he has made on his career at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea skipper John Terry today paid tribute to Jose Mourinho at the club’s press conference ahead of their UEFA Champions League fixture against FC Schalke 04.

The Blues defender said that Mourinho was a key reason his career had taken the trajectory that it had, with the Portuguese boss choosing Terry to be his captain upon his arrival to the club for the first time in 2004.

“My career is where it is because of this man next to me now. I’m very proud to be working with him again,” said John Terry.
