Michael Essien uses time away from the Chelsea first team productively with Barclays ATP World Tour Finals appearance.
Chelsea star Michael Essien may call Blues manager Jose Mourinho “Daddy,” but the father and son relationship between the pair hasn’t resulted in any playing time at all for the Ghana star.
Essien has been able to use his time off productively, attending the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals at London’s O2 Arena.
The year end tennis tournament is the season climax of the ATP World Tour, and Essien was able to see some of the best eight players in the men’s game in action.
