Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has wished fans of the north London outfit a very happy new year as 2013 comes to a close.
The Denmark international forward is a clear second choice at Emirates Stadium behind Olivier Giroud, but may be handed his chance against Cardiff City as the Frenchman is out of the Premier League clash with the Welsh side.
Bendtner was not particularly popular amongst upon his return to the Gunners side, but has demonstrated enough work and graft in training to warrant a place in the starting XI on occasion, and scored after just two minutes against Hull City.
Ahead of the Cardiff match, Bendtner posted a picture to social network Instagram with the following caption:
“Happy new year’s. Wish you all a great year and may your dreams come true. #topofthetable #amazingfans #friends #family #arsenalfamily #love #cardiff #23 #coyg”
