Houston Texans DE Jadeveon Clowney will be active for today’s game against the Tennessee Titans after missing the last 6 games with a knee injury suffered in the season opener.
Clowney was reportedly healthy enough to play last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers but was a late healthy scratch.
As a defensive end at South Carolina, Clowney was absolutely dominant in his Sophomore year, making some of the most incredible plays in the SEC thanks to his athletic prowess: His 4.5 40-time was faster than several NFL wide receivers in the 2014 draft.
The Houston Texans with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 draft, selected chose Clowney with the intention of standing him up as a pass rushing LB to tandem with former Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt.
