The Dallas Cowboys are facing the Green Bay Packers in Sunday’s NFC Divisional Round match, and the game features two great quarterbacks in Aaron Rodgers and Tony Romo.
Former Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman, who led the Cowboys to three Super Bowl victories, had high praise for the current Cowboys signal caller.
Aikman went on to say that he would take Romo over any other playoff quarterback. “I’ll tell you, right now, from what I’ve seen this year, I’d probably take Romo,” the Hall of Famer said to USA Today.
This is bound to be a controversial opinion even to Cowboys fans, but Romo made a strong case for MVP in the regular season with 34 touchdown passes and nine interceptions.
It remains to be seen whether Romo can make it to the big game like his newest advocate, and he will need to in order to silence his critics for good.
