Swans downed as they suffer a horror injury toll.
The Geelong Cats have shown they are a serious contender for the AFL title in 2013 after thumping the reigning premiers Sydney by 44 points at Simonds Stadium.
After Geelong earned a four-goal lead at half time Cats did enough to cruise to the finish line as they maintained their intensity, winning 13.14 (92) to 7.6 (48).
The game was marred by injuries to the Swans, including Rhyce Shaw who suffered a torn ACL and will miss the finals series and much of next season.
Geelong had plenty to smile about, especially this screamer of a mark from Steven Motlop which will be hard to beat for the best of the season award.
