Geelong is reportedly interested in securing delisted Melbourne speedster Sam Blease as a delisted free agent.
AFL.com.au report the Cats will aim to snap up the 23-year-old when the delisted free agency period opens on November 1.
Blease told the Demons last month that he was seeking an opportunity elsewhere, and the club had agreed to help facilitate a move elsewhere.
The midfielder was a first round selection in the 2008 national draft but did not make his debut until round 15, 2011 after breaking his ankle in a schoolyard incident.
Another ankle injury interrupted his 2013 season and despite gaining interest from Hawthorn in the trade period, he stuck with Melbourne.
Blease played just two AFL games in 2014 despite showing good form in the VFL, and it now seems Geelong may take a punt on the youngster as cover for the departure of Travis Varcoe.
