Gary Barlow has agreed to step in as last-minute headliner for this weekend's BBC Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park, after Lionel Richie had to pull out due to illness.
The Take That member and X Factor judge said he was approached by Radio 2 breakfast host Chris Evans to play the major London gig for the station, which takes place on Sunday.
Gary said: Its a pleasure to step in last minute and cover for Mr Richie.
Chris called me and said Lionel had had to pull out because he was ill and they had a hole in the show, so I was more than happy to help out.
