Fremantle defender Luke McPharlin has signed a one-year contract extension and will line up for a 16th AFL season.
Dockers list manager Brad Llyod said the club was thrilled the 238-game defender had chosen to go on for another season.
“Luke is a champion performer and one of the most respected players and leaders at the club,” Lloyd said in a statement.
“He’s a tremendous athlete and a complete professional, so we’re confident he will play at the high level we’ve come to expect from him.”
McPharlin played just 13 games in 2014, and it is believed the former Hawthorn man will have a decreased travelling schedule in 2015.
