Euro 2015 – the 20th edition of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship – got underway in the Czech Republic on Wednesday.
Gareth Southgate’s England begin their campaign on Thursday evening with a tricky game against Portugal.
England’s attack will be led by Tottenham Hotspur goal machine Harry Kane, who is one of the favourites to win the Golden Player award – which is given to the young man who performs best during the tournament.
Another player hoping to impress is Arsena’s Serge Gnabry, who will be lining up in Germany’s attack.

The Golden Player award is as old as the competition itself.
Past winners include Manchester United’s Spanish playmaker Juan Mata – in 2011 – and legendary Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech – in 2002.
