Michael Clarke and the Australia side will be out to keep their momentum going after dominating the second match of the series against England, winning by 88 runs at Old Trafford.
After the first match was washed out, Australia take a 1-0 lead into the third match of the series which heads to Birmingham today.
Clarke again showed why he is one of the best batsman in the world with his 105 off 141 balls laying the platform for the rest of the innings to build around.
George Bailey was also very good for the tourists batting at number five as he scored a rapid fire 82 as he helped put on a 155-run stand with Clarke.
Australia finished on 316 which was always going to be too much for the English to chase down, as they have shown in the past when confronted with totals of more than 300.
While the biggest total they have chased down in their history was 306-5 against Pakistan in Karachi 13 years ago, the result was never in doubt in Manchester and the margin of 88 runs was indicative of how well Australia bowled in defence of their total.
James Tredwell was the pick of the bowlers for England in the previous game while Mitchell Johnson showed promising signs of getting back to form somewhere near what he is capable of.
