Home side continue to dominate mid-way through first game.
A sparking partnership between David Warner and Michael Clarke has put Australia further in control of the first Ashes Test match against England.
Alastair Cook and his men looked likely to fight back after they got rid of Chris Rogers and Shane Watson cheaply early in the day.
But that just brought the Australian captain and Warner together, and thanks in part to Cook’s want to give singles to Warner to get his opposite number on strike against Stuart Broad, the partnership flourished.
