Elton John eyes up Muse collaboration for 2012 Olympics

Reports suggest that Elton John would like to collaborate with Muse for a performance at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
A source told the Sun that Elton John is a huge fan of the British band, whose name has been linked to an Olympic performance. The source said: "Elton has never put on subtle live shows but he wants the Olympic gig to be more overblown and spectacular than ever. He's been a huge fan of Matt Bellamy's band for years and isdesperateto collaborate with them."
The source continued: "A show during the London Olympics will be the ideal opportunity. And with Muse's reputation as one of the best live groups in the world it's bound to be special."
Muse are set to play at Leeds and Reading Festivals this weekend.
