Damon Albarn's Doctor Dee confirmed for London residency in June and July 2012

Damon Albarn's latest venture, Doctor Dee, is set to show in London for the very first time next year. The production will reside at London Coliseum throughout June and July 2012, after its successful run at Manchester International Festival this year.
Doctor Dee, an opera created by Gorillaz and Blur star Albarn, documents the life of John Dee, the 16th century astronomer and consultant to Queen Elizabeth I. The production is directed by Rufus Norris.
The show received a number of positive reviews after its first showings this year.
Doctor Dee tickets are set to go on sale this Friday for the following performances at London Coliseum:
June - 25th, 26th, 28th, 29th
July - 4th, 6th, 7th (matinee), 7th (evening)
