Murray won the rushing title last season with 1,845 yards while tying for the league lead in rushing touchdowns with 13.
After a surprise decision by the Eagles to trade LeSean McCoy to the Buffalo Bills, the Eagles suddenly became frontrunners to land Murray, and they sealed the deal after a Thursday meeting with him.
Wide receiver Dez Bryant is back with the Cowboys via the franchise tag, and he reacted to the news of Murray crossing to the dark side on Twitter.
