The Dallas Cowboys have started their season with a 5-1 record, and they established themselves as arguably the best team in the NFL by upsetting the Seattle Seahawks on the road, which is an extremely difficult feat to accomplish.
Quarterback Tony Romo has continued to play at a high level, and the play of running back DeMarco Murray and improvement on defense has helped Romo lead the Cowboys to this impressive start.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had high praise for his quarterback. “I don’t know that I can say that I’ve ever seen him play better,” Jones said to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Romo has also benefited from having the best offensive line in his career, as he has only been sacked four times in the last three games.
The Cowboys quarterback drew criticism for his play in the season opener against the San Francisco 49ers, where he threw three interceptions.
However, he has limited the turnovers since and thrown 10 touchdowns against two interceptions in his last five games.
