Collingwood has announced it has selected Oakleigh Chargers captain Darcy Moore with its first pick in the 2014 national draft.
The son of Magpie legend and two-time Brownlow Medallist Peter Moore will join the club after leading the Chargers to its third U-18 premiership.
Boasting agility and speed that belie his 199cm frame, Moore’s performances for Vic Metro at the U-18 National Championships earned him an All-Australian jumper.
