The finest Blues stars during Mourinho’s return to the club.
There was much excitement and anticipation around Stamford Bridge last summer as Jose Mourinho returned as Chelsea manager following a six year absence.
The 51-year-old has brought renewed belief to the club and with them currently second in the Premier League and through to the Champions League semi-finals, things are looking good.
Admittedly they haven’t been as ruthless as previous Blues sides under Mourinho and there is a feeling the Portuguese boss hasn’t quite crafted what he wants as yet.
There were unpopular decisions such as Romelu Lukaku’s loan departure to Everton and Juan Mata’s absence from the starting XI and eventual sale to Manchester United in January.
Yet it seems that Mourinho has been proven right in most of what he has decided in west London and there have also been some brilliant individual performances from members of his squad.
