Blues plan to pip Real Madrid to the signing of Toni Kroos, will loan Thorgan Hazard to Germany, and could go in for Eliaquim Mangala after rivals Manchester City have £32m bid accepted for Frenchman’s services.
Mourinho wants Kroos
Chelsea plan on pipping Real Madrid to the post for the transfer of superb midfield playmaker Toni Kroos, and are willing to pay £20m to lure him to Stamford Bridge, reports the Express.
The Bayern Munich man is available as he’s refused to sign a contract extension at the Allianz Arena, but it was thought that Los Blancos were close to announcing a deal for the 24-year-old – with Marca claiming that he’ll sign for Carlo Ancelotti’s men after the World Cup.
Now, it appears the two clubs could fight it out for his signature.
