After a heavy challenge by Newcastle United’s Cheick Tiote during the 2-2 international friendly draw between Belgium and Ivory Coast on Wednesday, it looked as if the attacking midfielder may miss out.
However, Hazard has recovered in time to face Spurs, which will be a great boost for manager Jose Mourinho as the 23-year-old has undoubtedly been the Blues’ best player this season.

Meanwhile Cole played his first match in five weeks during the international break when the left-back started for England against Denmark.
Although the 33-year-old was brought off at half-time in that clash the defender will not be fit to face London rivals Tottenham after picking up a knock in training.
Mourinho has actually preferred to play Cesar Azpilicueta on the left side of defence instead of Cole for much of this term, so the Englishman’s absence shouldn’t pose too much of a problem.
With both Arsenal and Manchester City playing in the FA Cup this weekend the west London club have the chance to extend their lead at the top of the table to seven points with a win over Tim Sherwood’s side.
