The 20-year-old winger, who has been in superb form this season, is yet to renew his deal after rumours of a pay dispute with the Merseyside giants.
Still, speaking to the Liverpool Echo after scoring in the Reds’ 2-0 win over Southampton, Sterling appeared confident that an agreement could be reached.
“We’re working on it and hopefully it will be sorted soon,” he said when asked about his future.
