Ba is keen to depart Stamford Bridge.
At looks as if Demba Ba’s time at Chelsea is coming to an end as the striker admits that he would like a transfer to Serie A.
The 28-year-old has been on the periphery of the first team since Jose Mourinho took over as manager last summer and clearly feels he needs to leave the club to change this.
“My agent has spoken to the club about a departure and he has started speaking with other clubs about a contract for next year,” Ba was quoted by the Sun.
“I hope we can find the best option possible. I’d like to stay in England. I like other leagues, too. I’d like to try the Italian league.
“Nothing’s been confirmed but there are a few teams in Italy who play very good football.”
Ba joined the Blues from Newcastle United in January 2013 in a £7.5m move, but has failed to really make an impression in west London since that transfer.

The Senegal international has managed to play 90 minutes just once this term and has started only three matches in all competitions all campaign.
Since making the switch from the Magpies Ba has made 43 appearances and scored 11 goals for the London club, but is currently behind both Samuel Eto’o and Fernando Torres for a place in the starting XI.
