Here’s the Chelsea predicted lineup to face Everton in the Premier League today, just four days before the Champions League tie with Galatasaray.
GK) Petr Cech
Cech has the best defensive record of any keeper in the Premier League this term, and will definitely retain his place barring a late injury.
DR) Cesar Azpilicueta
The Spaniard should shift to his natural right-back slot, because Branislav Ivanovic will need to cover for the injured duo of John Terry and David Luiz in the centre of defence.
DC) Gary Cahill
Cahill has been exceptional for Chelsea recently, and will lead the defence in Terry’s absence through injury.
DC) Branislav Ivanovic
The Serb is very comfortable at centre-half, and is unlikely to let anyone down during Saturday’s early kick-off. He may well have to deal with the giant Lacina Traore up top, however.
DL) Ashley Cole
The Englishman should be recalled to the lineup due to injuries, and will hope to impress Jose Mourinho, who’s only given him two starts in 2014 in the Premier League.
