The Blues take on Galatasaray, spearheaded by the giant Ivorian, in the last 16…
Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has reacted to the fact his current club Galatasaray have been drawn to play his former side Chrelsea in the last 16 of the Champions League.
Drogba announced on his Instagram page, accompanied with this image of the draw, this message: “What a draw… I’m the luckiest man in this competition. In both games I’ll be playing at home!!!!! See you in few months.”
Famously, Drogba helped Chelsea win the Champions League back in 2012 against Bayern Munich. Not only did he score a late equaliser within the 90 minutes, but he also scored the winning penalty in the shoot-out!
As a result, along with his other brilliant exploits in various Chelsea cup finals, the veteran African can be sure of a brilliant reception when he returns to Stamford Bridge.
