Blues may now have to look elsewhere to find new front man.
Chelsea’s hopes of persuading in-form Atletico de Madrid front man Radamel Falcao to swap the Spanish capital for Stamford Bridge come the end of the season have been dealt a blow after the Colombia international revealed his love for France in a recent interview.

The deadly striker, who has scored an eye-catching 17 goals already this season in just 16 Liga matches for Atletico, is known to be wanted by a whole host of big-name clubs throughout the Continent, with the likes of big-spending Real Madrid and Manchester City both also reportedly keen on joining the West Londoners in signing the player this summer.
However, it now appears as though another mega-rich club, Paris Saint-Germain, may be in the driving seat to land the player’s signature after Falcao spoke to his desire to one day play in France, with PSG in particular.
“France is a marvellous country,” he told Telefoot.
“I’ve been there before, and I love it. PSG have a very ambitious sporting project and they’ve invested a huge amount of money to construct a competitive team. That will need time, but that could come very quickly.
“It’s not impossible that I could be meeting you [the French media] very soon.”
