Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson has been controversial, but he told a fan on Twitter that his numbers are not automatic entry into the Hall of Fame.
Chad Johnson, who used to be known as Chad Ochocinco, has developed a diva reputation and been out of the NFL since his one-year stay with the New England Patriots in 2011.
Despite his controversial persona, Johnson showed lots of talent in his time with the Cincinnati Bengals by posting at least 1,100 yards in six consecutive seasons.
A fan on Twitter told Johnson that he should be in the Hall of Fame since he has similar numbers to former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin, but Johnson responded in a way that may surprise some fans.
Here are a series of tweets from Johnson on his Hall of Fame-worthy status.
Irvin has 3 rings… The ring I did have I lost that too… Stats not enough for HOF RT @BasedGodArod: @ochocinco pic.twitter.com/gsVldkxZrQ
