Defender ready to call it a day if he doesn’t get playing time.
Jamie Carragher has said he is ready to quit football if he doesn’t get much playing time between now and the end of the season according to The Daily Mail.
Carragher has just six months left on his contract and has declared that his future is dependent on how much he features in the up-coming months.

The former England international has played for the Anfield club for 16-years but is now coming to the end of his career at the age when he turns 35 next Monday.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers may be reluctant to let the player go however after Carragher put in an assured performance at centre-half during last weekend’s 5-0 victory over Norwich.
‘The manager has been great with me and has tried to keep me involved. It’s been a difficult season for me in terms of starting games. I’ve played a lot in Europe, the FA Cup and League Cup, but the Premier League is the most important thing for the club and the player’ said Carragher.
‘We all want to play and I’m no different. The manager has kept me involved by having me on the bench and bringing me on in different situations. But listen, I want to start. I’m no different to any other player.’
With Martin Skrtel’s form having been patchy in recent weeks, Carragher may find himself restored to the first-team and remaining in the first team sooner than many expected.
