It’s the turn of the second matches in Group H at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil as Belgium take on Russia in a very open pool of teams.
The Belgians know that victory over their opponents will take them to the knockout phase, having come from behind to beat Algeria 2-1 in their opener.
However, this is far from a certainty as the Red Devils struggled to live up to the hype surrounding them against the Algerians and manager Marc Wilmots is expected to make changes as a result.
Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini – who scored in the first match – is expected to replace Moussa Dembele of Tottenham Hotspur, whilst Arsenal captain Thomas Vermaelen is likely to come in for veteran defender Daniel van Buyten.
Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany is a doubt with a groin strain, whilst Chelsea youngster Romelu Lukaku is uncertain to start after a stuttering performance last week.
Russian boss Fabio Capello has a decision to make in his team as well, deciding if goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev should be dropped after the CSKA Moscow stopper’s gaffe in the 1-1 draw with South Korea.
Akinfeev spilled a tame shot into his net, before Aleksandr Kerzhakov saved his blushes with an equaliser.
