The Aussies have a lot to prove in their own back yard having succumbed to a 3-0 defeat in the summer during the first Ashes series of 2013.

The visitors are looking to make it four series’ in a row against their old foes, with Alastair Cook having enjoyed great success in the five-day game since taking over as captain.

With a strong batting line up that includes the in-form Ian Bell and star batsman Kevin Pietersen, the Three Lions will fancy their chances against the Australians.

That being said seamer Ryan Harris looked good in the summer and the unpredictable Mitchell Johnson is back in the squad – having dominated the English on previous occasions.

All five Test matches will be live on Sky Sports with coverage of the first test starting at 23.00 GMT each day. If you don’t have a Sky subscription why not grab yourself a NOW TV Sky Sports Day Pass – Pay As You Go access to all 6 Sky Sports channels for the first time ever!
