The Premier League showed its support for the victims of the recent Paris terror attacks on Saturday.
France’s national anthem was played before kick off in all eight matches up and down the country, including at the Hawthorns, where Arsenal played West Bromwich Albion.
Many supporters joined in singing La Marseillaise, as did Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, along with two of his French players – Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny.
Arsenal lost the game 2-1, despite taking the lead through a Giroud header.
James Morrison equalised, before a Mikel Arteta own goal turned the game on its head by half time.
The Gunners had a gold chance to level late on, but Santi Cazorla missed a penalty.
