Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is on the verge of completing another significant summer signing, report the Metro, with Napoli forward Eduardo Vargas reportedly set to secure a loan move to the Emirates Stadium for the 2014/15 campaign.
Wenger has reportedly been keen on securing a deal for Vargas, who was one of a number of players to impress for Chile at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, for much of the summer – and it seems as though the Frenchman is now set to secure his man.
The 24 year-old has spent two seasons on the books of Serie A outfit Napoli but, for some reason, has never really been given the chance to shine at the San Paolo – instead spending successful periods on loan at Gremio and Valencia.
