Podolski to return but Wilshere will start two match ban.
Arsenal are set to welcome back Lukas Podolski for the crunch clash with Chelsea on Monday, after the German declare himself fit to play for the first time time in nearly four months.
Podolski has been out since suffering a hamstring injury against Fenerbahce in August’s Champions League play-off.
The forward’s return is a welcome boost for Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, who has been forced to start Olivier Giroud in all but one of the club’s 16 league matches so far this season.
It will also ease the blow of losing midfielder Jack Wilshere for two matches after the England star lost his appeal over an abusive hand gesture against Manchester City.
Laurent Koscielny will also be missing with knee injury suffered against Man City but should return against West Ham.
