Wenger gives the latest on the Gunners’ injuries.
Ahead of the Premier League clash with Norwich City on Sunday Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has given the latest news about his team’s injuries.
There is good news and bad news for the Gunners, as midfielder Aaron Ramsey is definitely back and both Kieran Gibbs and Jack Wilshere are in contention for a place, whilst Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remains sidelined.
“We have everybody available who played against West Brom. We could have the return of Ramsey, he’s available again. Wilshere could be in the squad for Sunday as well,” Wenger was quoted by the club’s website.
“Kieran Gibbs will be back in the squad as well. He is in normal training at the moment.”
In fact that are doubts over whether Oxlade-Chamberlain will even be ready to face Hull City in the FA Cup final on May 17.
“Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will still be out,” Wenger continued.
“I don’t know yet. He has not at all practiced with the first team.”
The 20-year-old has missed the last two matches for the north Londoners, but should still be named in Roy Hodgson’s 23-man England squad on May 12.
There have been a number of injuries to Wenger’s squad this year which many think played a big part in them finishing in fourth position, despite topping the league for more days than any other team.
